Incorrect progress reporting by AirBnB

Hi all,

I am relatively new to hosting but have now welcomed around 20 guests and all have given me a 5* review with 100% of guests submitting reviews.  However, AirBnB are reporting that only 21% of guests have posted reviews which would mean that I don't get my Superhost standard on 1st July.!

Has anyone else encountered this problem and, if so, how did you resolve it?

Thank you in anticipation....

Pauline

Yup same problem here. Most hosts in my Facebook group have the same issue

Hi Pauline, have had the same issue. Hopefully will be fixed soon - the above comments are encouraging in that we're not alone. I called Airbnb and they said they're looking into this for me but they don't seem to be aware of a widespread issue, which is odd.

Same is happening to me here in Whitney, Ontario! yesterday I was at around 85% and today I'm at 14%. Hopefully this is getting noticed by their IT department!

Thanks for posting this Pauline. Mine is only showing 20% which is totally incorrect. I’ve also noted this last couple of weeks that my % occupancy is wrong. At first I thought I’d been blocked so had family members check. Looks like there are a number of glitches within the computer system at the moment.

Same here, dropped from 68% last week, one guest since who left a review, and now I’m showing just 6% and being told I need to improve by 1 July or will no longer have superhost status ! Guess it’s a new way of eliminating all the superhost bonuses 🙂

Yes I too noticed this just now. Should be 85% and showing 26%.

While im here, when I was doing my accountancy training I always understood that targets should only be set where you can have a direct influence on their achievement.  Otherwise your performance is based totally on someone else’s actions.  To have this as a target then seems slightly inappropriate as best will in the world it’s up to my guests as to whether they fill in the review and there’s very little i can do about it.

I have the same issue. One of my listings is showing up at 11% in reviews but it's actually 82%! I have been on the phone with AirB&B twice today and they are finally hinting that it could be an internal IT issue.  It's scary when the system threatens to mess with our superhost status. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one but I'm hoping that this is resolved in the next day.

Yes it appears that their algorithm is incorrect. I should be at 78% reviewed and it is only showing 22%. I just reported it on the bottom of the page "Give Feedback" Hopefully it's resolved soon.

100% review rate showing as 14%.

Yes, we also are affected. Showing that only 4 % of our guests have reviewed us this year and I think we’ve actually had 100% or close to it.

I have the same problem.  I’m very new having only hosted 4 times.  However,  my progress is showing a -* despite having all 5* stars!

Between now and September I am booked solid but if they don’t sort it, I’m concerned it may impact on gaining superhost status.   I’ve been on the phone woth their support and was told to log out of the app and then log back in again.   Apparently they were getting lots of calls and said it was a glitch.

Logged out and in again, no change! The reassuring thing is that it doesn’t appear to affect the listing so potential guests are seeing 5* overall rating.

However, I’m not a happy host
