Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I'm really sorry for everyone who's experiencing payout delays.

 

We are indeed aware of the situation and I'd like to thank everyone in the CC who's been logging any issues they have on this.

 

We've been flagging it with the team internally, so hopefully we'll have an update on the matter soon.

RESOLVED: Today, we have received the e-mail confirmation that ABB is going to release the payout with expected arrival around 31st July 2020 on our bank account.

 

I would like to thank you all, especially to the admins, @Lizzie and @Liv (here in the English community) and @Theresa (in the German community) for their ongoing help and support in this matter, as well as to all the hosts who supported us with their valuable input and comments @Ann72 @Maegan3 @Rob430 @Anthony1148 @Tina183 

 

This example confirms that the community is very valuable for us as hosts and that it is worth to trust in ABB.

I am trying to contact AIRBNB help centre from last week but unable to get any response.

I need assistance with respect to my booking.

We’ve had no payouts since 21st July. This has been since we were asked to verify whether we are a business or sole trader. We’ve answered the question prior to deadline and had confirmation text and email that’s wed done so. Ever since, we’ve not had payouts despite our payment details not having changed. 5 of the most recent guests and no payouts received. It took 3 messages to air bnb before after a few days we got a reply. We’re told we had to wait for it to be an issue for 14 days before it could be escalated. It’s been 18 days. Was escalated but the new case manager hasn’t offered an explanation, nor answered my questions and it’s still not been resolved. She just keep saying to wait another 48 hours but offers nothing else. I’ve submitted feedback (complaint) about how this has been handled so far but it hasn’t eventuated to anything.
I keep being ghosted by the case manager who doesn’t answer ANY of my questions

Air bnb has until Saturday to resolve this before we cancel guests from Sunday onwards and close the listing down. We’ve waited long enough. Spent enough time sending messages with generic replies and on the phone being told we can’t be helped as the issue is noted as pending in progress. We’re running at a loss with no guarantee that we will he paid out.

Hello everybody,

The issue with payout still present in Ukraine!! Guests checked in 22 July, transaction status pending. I have to pay my bills, how? 

Abb wants to down their rating between hosts, really? Support didn't answer anything @Lizzie when will my payout done?

The payout for my 19th July check in is showing as 'processing'. Hopefully that means I will get it soon.

 

However, the previous payout, which was supposed to be issued on 18th May, was not processed until 26th June and that is only after I relentlessly chased Airbnb with phone calls and messages over the course of a few weeks. I only got a response to my initial message to CS three weeks after I sent it!

 

I can see there have been a lot of issues with payouts of late, but this is an ongoing issue. This year, I have had to chase I don't know how many payments, including several BEFORE the pandemic happened, so that can't be used as an excuse for all of the delays. In several cases, it took numerous contacts to Airbnb over a period of MONTHS to get the matter resolved (no explanation other than it was a technical glitch and being passed on to the appropriate team).  One payout was finally receive, over 1.5 YEARS late. 

 

Yes, you heard that right. 

 

@Airbnb, with all the interest you earn sitting on these payments, you really should be compensating hosts when payments are delayed beyond a reasonable timescale due to your 'technical glitches'.

@Huma0  Absolutely- they should be paying interest to hosts on any payouts not processed within a couple of days of the stated payout date, instead of them collecting interest on illegally withheld payouts.

I hope you are doing ok. Sorry to hear you have been hit with a few delayed payments too. Just wanted to check if you have received the one from 19th July yet? I think this may have been caught up in the issue I mentioned earlier in this thread.

How are you? Thanks for taking the time to double check! As of yesterday, the payment is showing as processed. I just need to double check my bank account to see if has gone through, but hopefully all is sorted now. I will definitely let you know!

Just to update you, I did eventually receive all my outstanding payouts. I am still finding that the more recent ones are coming in a bit slow, e.g. taking a week or more rather than the couple of days they are supposed to, but it's better than before.

Hi all, I think nothing is going to happen until we make our point with our dollars. I suggest all hosts that are having this problem block out all future dates for the next 3-6 months. We can all switch over to a competitive site until AiirBnB sees that the complete lack of host is unacceptable?

Unfortunately there isn't a really competitive site for hosts like me that rent private rooms in their own homes, not in the UK at least. I have looked, believe me. If anyone has suggestions, do feel free to let me know or PM me!

@Lizzie My previous comments describing AirBnB failure to pay me for a confirmed reservation have vanished, just as my money!

I have spent hours waiting on phone, and an open case with CS since 7/18. Nobody, got back to me.

My case is not resolved yet and Guest is long gone.

Is this the new "normality" at AirBnB? Dissapointing....Frightening! 

AirBnB ignores me.
