Worried my guest is causing damages

My listing is an apartment attached/above my house. While standing in the kitchen, directly below the apartment I heard a huge clatter that shook nearly the whole house. I messaged the guest to ask if everything is OK, but they claim to not be the cause of this. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and checked my home for anything that could have caused it. One of my family members reported a similar incident early this morning. Should I be concerned that they are destroying my apartment? My husband wants me to request to go see what is going on but I don't think I can just invade their privacy like that.

You can indeed not just invade their appartment. But if it happens again, you can go there and ask for explanation of the unusual noise, as you are concerned about it (as living downstairs, it is also impossible to avoid it).
