Hi, I have a 10% weekly discount applied to all of my listings. It works on some but not others.
I just had a guest book with me for 8 nights through instant book (strict cancellation). Now they are asking why the 10% discount did not apply to their booking (yet they still booked).
How do I know if the 10% applied or not? My listing had a range of nightly prices over this week due to a public holiday so I cannot tell if they recieved the discount or not. It is not shown anywhere in the confirmation.
I did a test on later dates for the same listing and the weekly discount was not working.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
You have multiple listings. Which one are we talking about ? Please provide direct link.
Best, Emiel
HI,
Listing says weekly discount 10%, monthly 30%
But it's not calculated (it is ignored), whatever dates I try to book. You can try/see it yourself.
Alternative: got to the calender (the big one you manage for availability etc..), select an available week, click on the right: what do guests pay
Best regards,Emiel
Thanks for the reply.
Do you know how I can stop the weekly discount being ignored?
It works for some of my other listings.
Thanks
Kain
HI,
It's not ony the weekly, but also the monthly discount which is ignored.
Maybe check if one off those is interfering:

Otherwise i don't know what's causing the trouble.

I just turned off the weekly discount and turned it back on. Seems like it's working now.
I will attempt to refund the guest 10%.
HI,
OK, good to know about this trick ! I noticed on your listing it's calculated now !
BTW If guest has a confirmed reservation and not checked-in allready, you can simply change the reservation (option in reservations list) and correct the price.
Best, Emiel
Thank you for your help.
Looks like the old trick 'turn it off and back on again' worked in this case.
One more question: Do you know if it's possible to look back at a booking and see what they paid for each night of their stay?
Cheers
