Hi Airbnb Community,I’m having trouble syncing my Airbnb calendar with the booking system on my website. I’ve set up iCal syn...
Could some of you more experienced hosts let me know if I should be worried or not?
Also, what questions would be appropriate to ask my guest to help me vet this booking - since they appear to have set-up their account just prior to booking my place ( Gvt ID is all that is checked on their profile - no photo, no reviews, and listed as "with Airbnb" since this current month.)

@Lisa831do you have a security deposit? Cleaning fee? Any house rules about parties, noise, large gatherings, pornographic movie making etc?
You can say to your guest :
Hi Guest, before you arrive at our home for your stay we would like to have some more information about you and the others in your group. We want to make sure your group is a good fit for our listing. We ask you to agree that you and all your travel companions will follow our house rules and will treat our home with respect, leaving it in the pristine condition you can expect when you arrive.
-Please update your profile picture to a good quality recognizable photograph of yourself.
-Let us know the purpose of your visit to our area.
-Tell us how many guests will be arriving and when
-Provide the name of each person who will be staying/sleeping in the home while you are in residence.
According to the guidelines set forth by Airbnb, the booking guest must be one of the people who stays in the home. We do require that the booking guest be the individual who checks in and out for the group unless alternative arrangements are made in advance. Please have photo ID with you for us to view upon arrival (driver's license, passport.)
If someone else will be the one to check in or out we need that person's name, phone number and email before arrival and will require the person to provide photo ID when checking in.
@Lisa831 I'm hosting a house that fits 10-14 people, and I uave had several guest that appreared to be brand new to Airbnb. Some had no photo. Some had no reviews. Some had many reviews and many years of travel. So far one of my best rentals had no photo was brand nee and no reviews. Use the messaging to feel out the person and make sure you feel comfortable eith the situation. Good luck.
