Need quick help

My guest has booked for 5 nights. On the 3rd night they had an inconvenience and wanted to check out on 4th day morning. Which I’m ok with as this was his first Airbnb or rather his first homestay experience and he was expecting a hotel service which we do not provide. So there was obviously a gap in expectation vs reality.

I have 1 question -

if I refund the guest for all 5 nights even though he stayed for 3 nights; does he still get to leave a review? Because now all 5 nights have opened up in my calendar.

@Karishma14  Yes because they did actually stay they will be invited to review.  I personally would not refund the nights they stayed unless there was something materially wrong with the accommodation.

@Karishma14  Yes, they will be able to do a review becauase they stayed. If you are concerned you can offer a partial refund for any unused nights via Airbnb, your choice, but under my strict cancellation policy I havent (as nothing wrong with accommodation provided like @Karen114 mentions).

I am concerned you mentioned all five days they booked are now open. You might want to check and see if a refund request is coming from them or Airbnb.

Just remember you also have a right of reply so when doing your review leave this part until after you read theirs (assuming they do one).
