We are having issues with plumbing a day before guests arrive. The plumber has been working on it for two days now and has not guaranteed that it will be finished in time before the guests arrive. What can we do and what how can airbnb support us regarding the guests?

@Cary142 the most important thing is communication. Talk to the guest and explain the issues and possible outcomes and see what they think. If they are planning to be out all day then a big discount to allow the plumber to continue might be the answer. Perhaps even a free of charge stay (they just pay Airbnb fees) would make sense to them.
So much depends on how long they are coming for and what their plans are
